Gaza Educate Medics (GEM)
The ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip has posed significant challenges to the healthcare system, resulting in a shortage of medical professionals and limited educational opportunities for medical students. PalMed Academy, along with individual educators, endeavors to establish a dedicated program to support Palestinian medical students in Gaza. Our aim is to provide them with the necessary resources, training, evaluation, and opportunities to advance their education and contribute to the future healthcare workforce in the Gaza Strip.

PalMed Nursing Education
The project aims to support students who have fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing, but whose university certificates have been withheld due to their inability to pay tuition fees. This is a result of extreme poverty, repeated wars, the suffocating siege on Gaza, and the high unemployment rates. So, the aim is to provide financial assistance to nursing graduates whose certificates have been withheld due to outstanding tuition fees. This initiative is crucial considering the severe shortage of healthcare professionals in Gaza, exacerbated by the ongoing conflict, which has claimed many lives among healthcare workers.

There are a total of 1,500 dental students in Gaza who have been left without access to the essential clinical training required to complete their studies.
