Counselling for Our Students
The Counselling for Zubeda Welcome Quran Students* program offers healing and hope to refugee children through both face-to-face and online counselling sessions. Our mission is to support children who have endured trauma during their challenging journeys, providing the care they need to flourish emotionally and excel educationally.
Our mission is to provide vital counselling to high-risk refugee children identified by their madrasa teachers. By partnering with madrasas and professional counsellors, we strive to improve these children’s well-being and enhance their learning experiences. Additionally, we offer parents and carers valuable resources and guidance to support their children’s growth. With adequate funding, we ensure these children receive the care they need to maintain their faith and achieve educational success.
Many of these high-risk children have endured significant trauma during their arduous journeys. Unfortunately, the limited resources of most madrasa providers and long waiting lists for refugee services—along with ineligibility for NHS support for some—make it imperative to offer dedicated care to foster their overall development.
