There is no set minimum donation amount. However, since Stripe processing fees can be up to 2.9% + 20p, we recommend a minimum donation of £1.00 to maximise the impact of your contribution.
Yes, you can! The timeline feature ensures charities keep donors updated with posts. You can also click on the specific project you donated to and view images or updates in the project gallery.
Pocket Giving uses AWS servers for hosting and Stripe for payment processing, ensuring a secure and robust infrastructure to protect your data and transactions.
Yes. The Track Page on the app allows you to:
• View your donation history.
• Export an annual report, filterable by date range.
This is particularly useful for calculating Zakat, preparing your Self-Assessment Tax Return, or completing your Corporation Tax Return.

Donations are considered voluntary gifts, so we are not legally required to provide refunds. However, we understand mistakes can happen.
We offer a 7-day refund policy for cases such as:
• Donations made in error (e.g., incorrect amount or duplicate payment).
• A valid reason provided for the request.
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days at hello@pocketgiving.co.uk. Please note, refunds cannot be issued for donations already distributed to charitable projects.
At Pocket Giving, we understand the importance of ensuring that your Zakat reaches those in need. While our platform does not charge any additional fees, standard payment processing fees of up to 2.9% + 20p apply.
To ensure your entire Zakat amount reaches the Campaign Creator, you can include a little extra in your donation to cover these fees.
Here’s how you can calculate the total donation amount:
If you intend to give £50 as Zakat:
1. Payment processing fee = £50 × 2.9% + 20p
= £1.45 + £0.20
= £1.65
2. Add this fee to your intended Zakat amount:
£50 + £1.65 = £51.65
By donating £51.65, the Campaign Creator will receive the full £50 for your Zakat after the processing fees are deducted.
